About me

Yes… I am one of *those* people who will whip out the camera and take a photo of my plate of food.  And… if you do not object, I will then turn and take a picture of your plate of food as well.  That is, assuming you and I did not order the same item on the menu.  My friends tolerate me enough to let me photograph shared plates before anyone digs into them.

So why a blog..?

This blog was started as a requirement in one of my many random courses that I take.  As it is a course related to Social Media, experiencing social media first hand is the best way to learn it.

Thanks, Shelley! I just approved your blog claim. Now your Urbanspoon profile picture is displayed on your blog page. You can upload a blog-specific photo if you prefer, and can change a few other blog settings there. Also, if you vote for a restaurant that you’ve reviewed on your blog, we now show your vote next to your post everywhere on our site.

  2. Hi Shelley,

My name is Judy. I am a Marketing Coordinator for a content marketing platform called Atomic Reach that creates blogger communities and connects bloggers with brands looking for high-quality content. I am reaching out to you about an opportunity to become part of the new tribe called “Vancouver Eats”. As a huge foodie myself, I loved reading through blog and think you have done a fantastic job in covering topics that would be interesting to the members.

So the obvious question, what’s in it for you?

Lots of traffic to your blog, and we’ll be sending new readers to your site every day. It’s great for SEO. In many of our previous blogger cases, we have doubled traffic to their sites and significantly decreased bounce rates. You can also meet new bloggers who write reviews on Vancouver restaurants!

If you’re interested or have any questions, please send me an email (judy@atomicreach.com) and I’ll send you a link to activate your account (or an answer to questions).

Hope you have a warm and toasty Thanksgiving weekend and we look forward to you joining our community! :)

    Kindest Regards,
    Judy

    • Thank you for surfing by and leaving a comment, Judy. Thank you also for your nice comments about my blog! How flattering…!

Sounds like an interesting platform/community. I will think about it and get in touch with you if I have any questions.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend as well!
      :)
